The Altar of God

Altar=A place where one can lay down their life before an all consuming God and be changed forever. Why do we as believers feel that once we have accepted Jesus as lord we don't feel the need to return to the Altar of God unless we are in times of need. We as believers must continue to return to the Altar of God, for that is where change comes in our life. If we don't come to the Altar of God on a continual basis how can we say that we are being changed. The Altar of God is where God changes and grows us into the image of Christ. After all that it is what we are to be doing here on earth, that is to be like Jesus. Christian= means to be christ like or little christ. So we as believers should embrace the Altar of God and continually seek him there. So today I say we need to run to the Altar of God today and let him change your life forever.
